In my group for design and the market we have decided to look at the Weaver James Donald, however he puts his hand into other disciplines too, not just weave. However particularly in today's climate, it seems you have to be a more versatile designer in order to be a sucess. You have to strike the right balance between being a "jack of all trades" and "pigeon-holing" yourself.

I love how his inspirations for his designs have come from nature, I feel it helps to give them an organic feel to them.
