Business Relationships...

In my business module, we are establsihing more about business relationships. They are a key factor in moving along your business concept. I was wanting to try and look into what kind of factors are good to have in these kinds of relationships in order to keep it in good working order.

You need to essentially repect those you are working with, which then will lead on to accepting who they are and once you accept who they are that helps create and enviroment of trust.

 Once you establish this trust element between you that then can lead to you being more open with them which can then lead to more opportunities, strategies, ideas and products.

You also need to take alook at communication styles as everyone is different and different people prefer to communicate in different ways.

Try and think about non verbal communication as well such as body language and tone, you do not want to come across unwelcoming or unfriendly or rude, these things could potentially harm your business realtionships.

Different people value different things as well, this needs to worked around and respected on both sides and can at times be tricky but needs to be handled with the upmost delicacy.

Boundaries is another thing to look at to establish where you both stand in your professional relationship.

Have Self-Respect, if you do not repect yourself, how can you expect others to?

Culture needs to be repected at all times.

To me these, seem like common sense but it is good to go over things even if you know them, just to refresh your memory...
